BACKGROUND

"I realized at a young age that strength helped increase athletic performance. Bodybuilding was a very natural transition from training for football in High School. It was while preparing for spring practice at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga that I was encouraged to try bodybuilding. A couple weeks before spring practice I decided to compete in bodybuilding. I won the novice middleweights at the NPC Atlanta and the rest is history!"


TRAINING

I believe in "progressive resistance training," which is a gradual increase in one's weight increments on their lifts. I like to keep every working set in a range between 6-12 reps. This stimulates the muscle fibers the best! I typically train 2 days on and 1 day off. Here is my current training split:

Monday: BACK
Tuesday: CHEST
Wednesday: OFF
Thursday: QUADS, HAMS, AND CALFS
Friday: SHOULDERS
Saturday: ARMS
Sunday: OFF


MEAL PLAN

Peter likes to maintain low levels of body fat while allowing enough calories for growth. 55% of his total calories come from carbohydrates, 40% from protein, and 5% from fat. Below are some of the items he likes to include in his diet:
